Question by : What mental disorders are related to lack of self-esteem?
I wanted to ask if there’s any mental disorders for lack of self-esteem. Well actually, I’m looking for a disorder where a person is too fragile in a sense where he is scared of the people around him leaving. He holds and clings on to these people because he doesn’t want them to leave, he can’t stand being alone even for a short period of time.

Is there a disorder for that? :) Thanks!

There could be another disorder more suited, however the only one I know is “Passive-dependent personality disorder”

Persons with passive-dependent personality disorder usually will have lack of self-confidence. These persons will not be able to make decisions. Persons with passive-dependent personality disorder will have tendency to cling and seek support from others.

Question by : I took a mental health quiz to see what’s been wrong with me, and it diagnosed me with bi polar II disorder.?
The treatment sounds like to take it I will need to be under close doctor supervision, but I don’t have a job to be able to afford this. Are there any services for mental health and people who can not afford treatment? I feel so embarrassed to talk about it. I don’t know how to tell my family and husband. I feel so alone and scared right now. I don’t know what to do.

The Package Deal: Mental Illness, Stigma, and Discrimination

My longtime friend, Jean Lyon, encouraged me to write a book about my experiences with the mental health system. “You should write a book,” she said.

“No, I couldn’t. No one would believe me,” I replied.

The Package Deal is a short, 4500-word memoir that takes the reader into a world that most people do not know about. My non-fictional account pro
